I have never seen a lash egg like that in almost 10 years of keeping chickens. But I have seen quite a few when I have done a necropsy on hens I have lost. It is a quite common reproductive disorder.

It's really a big one. I've found one that had somehow been 'unraveled' after it was laid and looked like some sort of really bizarre 'flesh tape.' Disturbing things!
