What all type of medicines/vaccines/homemade recipes, and any another medical prevention for chickens do i need to keep them healthy, and if something does happen anything I can use to help. Everything you can think of would be great!

There are many and varied approaches to chicken care on here. Many meds that are used are used off label. Some long term chicken keepers essentially use no medications. Lots of things can go wrong with a chicken, but many, many chickens never have any problems. It will be up to you how to approach chicken keeping.

i have a firstaid cabinet/chest in my quarantine room, its chok full of things i use on the animals, cant think of what is specifically for the chickens off the top of my head but heres a few things in there

flubenvet (dewormer)
ivomec cattle pour on (for parasites/worms)
denagard (antibiotic)
apple cidar vinegar
esb-3 (for coccidiose)
bandages + self sticking tape
scissors
guneapig nail clippers (for trimming chickens nails - normally only need it for the indoor chickens who dont have much hard ground to wear nails down on)
various size heat lamps
tweezers
wound spray
cotton buds
syringes without needles
eye wash
sanitary towels / chicken diapers
chicken saddles
multi vitamins without iron
vicks vaporub

then i have the homemade things...jars of dried crushed garlic/peppers/pumpkin seeds etc and a little bottle my pharmacist made for my chickens when they had a respitory infection, its all naural ingriedients that u put in an oil burner and it helps relieve the mucu to help yo breathe more easily

i dont need to use these things often but like to have them there just in case, we live out in the sticks so its not easy just to nip to the shop if a chickens ill...

i worm twice a year, just around spring and autumn time and dust the chickens for mites/lice if i see they have them. i also dust the chicken houses with the powder to kill any living in the cracks/wood.

i normally use the flubenvet as wormer (no need to throw the eggs away then but you must mix the right amount of powder in the feed and feed for 7 days...i find it too fiddly) so i switched to ivomec pour on cattle wormer this year....much easier to dose and im sure now every chicken is getting wormed properly, it also kills lice/mites so well worth the money.

for dusting the houses i use zerox-p

i use the apple cider vinegar in their water 3 x per week

for the rest i let my chickens et on with it.....im not the kind of person to give medicines as preventatives or 'just in case', i just give if and when they need it.

i do give the redpepper/dried garlic mix now and then in their feed and pumpkin seeds as treats, these apparantly keep worms at bay and hely egg production but i dont know if thats true or not...but my chickens enjoy it!
