So do you think she just has old legs, or does she have Scaly Leg Mites?I do believe it is a female RIR with a hormone imbalance. I wouldn’t be shocked if she crows. Definitely 3+ years old, but eggs aren’t out of the question.

Regarding the double feather…all of my chickens have this (brahma, silkie, d’Uccle, Easter Eggers, marans…He does have nice under-color, as a RIR should. Also these double feathers, which I think I've only seen on my pheasant.View attachment 3193556
