True 'dat! Poor feller looks like got some bad genes from his momma and his poppa both.

We had a little EE roo that took absolutely forever to feather out a couple of years ago. He did eventually get his feathers, and he was beautiful, but he was pretty homely for a while. I want to say that he was about 5 months old before he finished feathering??? We named him "Nakeds"!!!!

I have a frizzle doing the same thing and think he is a boy also. I will try to get a pic tomorrow. Not as bad but almost no feathers on his little back, lol. He is about 7 weeks old. I feel so bad for him, thought he was getting picked on but maybe just how the grow.

Breed him to some naked necks. Eventually you could end up with some featherless chickens... like those folks in Israel. Saves time when you process them.

These birds are best in hades type environments... like Phoenix in the summer time.

Awww, poor thing! I bet he spends a lot of time under the brooder lamp.

If he turns out anything like Cynthia's Suede, though (like she is thinking), you are going to be VERY, VERY lucky. Suede is one handsome fowl.

I had a frizzle cockerel that was like that until he was about 14 weeks old. Just the wing feathers and feet....no tail, none on head or back. he us UGLY as sin. All the other chickies laughed at him, but he showed them. He is now making sme nice babies, at a friend of mines. Hang in there, he will look better as time goes on.
