I know that many like Turkins, but I have no idea why. My daughter begged for this little one. It seems to have a great personality, but that naked craw sticking out grosses me out. There is a little Puff of down above it's craw. Will that eventually cover the craw? Uncovered, it looks like some kind of growth.

I’m giggling, but my heart is so happy that you let her bring home this sweet one. Maybe it’ll grow up to be beautiful! If not, personality goes a long way.

No, his neck will remain "naked" for life. I have so many Turkens that they just look normal to me. Maybe even cuter than regular chickens!! Look how pretty this guy is!!

I have one Nn, she looks similar to yours. I love her! She has just the right amount of ‘tude- although, the breed in general can tend to be kinda cowardly.
Occasionally the skin on her neck gets dry, I just put coconut oil on it. She’s pretty cute to me now but I thought she was ugly too, at first. To each her own, I guess
