Mornin rj! I am fine, thanks! Still limping around... what I am bummed about is that I am missing out on a beautiful weekend... the weather is glorious!Good morning WhoDatHow are you feeling today?
Well yall... it happened... the horse tripped and down we went... it was like slow motion... I could feel each part of my body hit the ground and my head go bang (thank God I was wearing a helmet!) and then I watched her land on my leg
.... she popped back up fast so that was good. I am aching in my shoulder and neck and elbow.. but the knee down is hurting pretty bad..my friend and teacher got me right back on after she assessed me... I was a little nervous but okay I think. Anyway, I’m going to relax.. I’ll try and get back here soon. I’m getting so far behind everywhere!

This happened to my mum when she was like 9 on her first pony who had been abused at his previous horse. Gosh that horse was awful to her, he used to bite, rear, kick, buck her off and other ghastly stuff. I listen to it and I am so thankful that I never had a pony like that.I'm glad that you were not too badly hurt, getting right back on was the best thing to do! Things like that can happen so quickly! I was thrown off of a horse once, but my foot went through the stirrup (I wasn't wearing boots) & I was drug across a field until he stopped, I extricated my foot & forced myself to get back onto my saddle & rode him back in! I might never have ridden again if I hadn't done that! I was 12 or 13 at the time.
Your okay and that’s what’s important. I know it might be hard to even imagine getting on and keeping going but if you do you will be doing yourself a favour. I can’t tell you the amount of times I have fallen off and been scared to get back on but the more you fall the more you learn from your mistakesWell yall... it happened... the horse tripped and down we went... it was like slow motion... Yeah, horses or ponies like that are quite scary! This horse was greenbroke and I should have been paying closer attention...he wasn't mean...I can't honestly remember what set him off, but something spooked him...it was probably 40 or so years ago! I'll never forget being drug though! This happened to my mum when she was like 9 on her first pony who had been abused at his previous horse.
