Interesting. I am 100% in favor of keeping politics out of BYC, but this one feels like a massive sense of humor failure to me.
It was obviously a joke and based on the looks of your gorgeous new chick.
I think I was the only one who violated the no politics rule on your thread and even that was very mild and I thought obviously a jest.
I wonder if they would accept the addendum idea that Bob suggested.

I think I stated a political preference once or twice too. I didn't realise it was frowned upon.

We are great! Thank you! We stayed as we weren’t in the line of fire.. I probably would’ve stayed if we were.. .... the only thing that would concern me is that we have really large trees surrounding our house... I heard this morning that a tree fell on a house and a 14 year old girl was killed.... that was in or near Lake Charles where the hurricane hit... it landed on the Louisiana Texas boarder...

Seriously? Please, that thread was not about politics at all, and anyone who read even one post there would know that.
I mean, I agree with keeping politics off of BYC, but a CHICKEN named Trump is funny, especially in view of the chick’s cute little comb-over!
Some people are missing the humor gene.

We shouldn't have to worry about something like that! I feel like I live in Nazi Germany! So many have lost the ability to be able to agree to disagree and move on! If I see something that I don't agree with, that's what I do...free speech is a part of our constitution for a reason! It's a shame that BYC has to police their forum because people melt down! I totally understand why they don't want politics, but this thread was not political at all!

I am very much afraid that she is gone. She has posted nothing on my thread since this happened and she was a daily contributor. She was very dear to me and I will miss her greatly if she does not return.
