meet Pixie, the ??? bantam

Yeah I saw that too, I figured she may just be a hatchery Dutch and as we know, hatcheries jsut breed whatever will lay, even if it's not to the standard. I still vote for Dutch, again keep in mind, if you are thinking she is a cross, she would have to be from two mille fleur breeds since she is mille fluer, it could be possible to be a MF Dutch X MF OEGB, but I doubt thats very likely, also we have to remember that from what I can tell from to pics , she's a splash mille fleur so she would have had to of came from a Blue X Blue mating.

This bird is definitely going back - on top of all the behavioral problems I just noticed little SPURS growing in!

It's a freaking boy!

That explains the aggression... anyways it's all for the best, the breeder HAS to take him back now.

Good riddance.

Never thought to meet a chicken I didn't like, but there you go.

Yes, they do have small spurs, There's absolutly no way that's boy technodoll, the comb, the rounded, straight tail feathers, the carriage, everything about it is a HEN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

would a sebright mix have spurs? The sebright roos are "hen feathered," remember. Granted the comb is all wrong, but if the bird was a mix then all the genetic makeup would be unpredictable, no?

On the other hand, would a roo be terrorizing all the other hens?

And where would you rehome a terrorist hen?

Glad I'm not in your shoes, technodoll!

This hitler hen is going back where it came from, LOL!

She doesn't fit in and she raises my blood pressure in a negative way every time I go in the coop.

At the risk of strangling the little screamer, she needs to be rehomed this weekend.

I hear ya!!! I know the feeling, had plenty of those over the years myself, just usually boys, Those are the ones that get tossed out in the yard....Had a blue polish bantam that would spur the crap out of you every time you went in to feed them. I am not much on biting the hand that feeds you birds...Needless to say, he's no longer with us, after he flew up one day and spurred me in the forehead, just missing my eye, that was all she wrote for him, so dont blame ya a bit there...
