Mega Feeder

Hi Folks, I have 48 chickens and 16 ducks. It seemed like I was filling feeding bowls all the time. I looked around on the site here and found this design. Thank you!!! https://www.backyardchickens.com/a/homemade-wood-chicken-feeder

I took the design and built a bigger version that holds 10 - 50# bags. 500#'s should last me about a month. I also have a problem with deer eating all the feed. The birds access the feed from under the shade structure - out of reach for the deer!!! Behind it you can see my coop and duck house. Here's some picsb of the hopper.

Is the only access to the feed the top of the feeder?

No - The birds have the feed tray sticking out and protruding about 5" under the shade structure. That is so the deer can't get to it. Here's some pics.
