Pesky roosters woke me at 3am, so checked the stats and they were updated.

That was the first thing I looked at today too Kathy!

Today 4pm

Wow Kathy, great job!!!

If you (or anybody else) notices that it's still getting stuck past 24 hours, please take note of the exact time that you saw the numbers one day and the exact time you saw the unchanged numbers the next.

If possible, screenshots like the ones above are super helpful!!

Basically, I need to provide the engineers with very clear details around when the data is / isn't being updated since they are saying it shouldn't be more than 24 hours between updates.

So I think this was the count as of 5pm yesterday.

Note that screen shot was just taken, but I remember looking yesterday at 5pm, and other than the number of total threads and posts, it was the same.

I noticed in today's post total one person had 500 posts - allegedly for the 24 hr. period. Can anyone even on a sugar high ,do 500 in one day. It's probably spread over 2 days. Who knows? Now and then I won't see my name on the top ten and then two or three days pass and it posts a total I know I am not capable of in one day.

Another thing I have noticed for a few weeks in a row. for instance if I end on 51, 500, for my day. When I start up the next day it will say 51,500 okay so far. But I can then post 4-5 and it still says 51,500. I know it can take a bit to catch up especially if you post in rapid succession BUT.,later the same day if I go back and post several more times it will still say 51,500. I keep a count of my posts just for the heck of it. I am shorted every day sometimes by half a dozen posts. Sometimes by several more.

One person said "What difference does it make?" I replied it's like working a 40 hour week and getting paid for 20. The serious greeters on here do work hard in answering posts.

I do it because I enjoy it most of the time- I especially try to answer every new member post for the day because I don't want someone to feel overlooked. Beyond that I like to see the numbers climb. Years ago I was a distance walker (my own description) I had a Speed + distance watch & transceiver if I saw I had 18 miles I wanted to pump it up to 20.

I feel the same with the BYC posts, it's hard to be at something like 94 and not push to round up to 100. before the day is over. .

I noticed the 506 posts in one day today also. If I did my math correctly, that barely seems possible.

If you figure someone sat online for an entire 24 hour period, that's 1,440 minutes. 1,440 divided by 506 posts = 1 post every 2.8 minutes.
Since it's unlikely someone would post for a continuous 24 hours, use 12 hours (which is still a lot for someone to do). 24 hours x 60 minutes = 720 minutes. 720 minutes divided by 506 posts = 1 post every 1.4 minutes.

I've seen this member's posts before...she isn't one to 'cut and paste' the same thing repeatedly. Her posts are thought out, honest conversation which takes time. Being able to post 506 times in a 24 hour period and still have some life away from the computer, doesn't seem likely (humanly possible, but not likely).
