One of my Swedish flower chicks pipped very low Saturday then got completely stuck to the membrane as it dried out. In the past that would have been tragedy. But the amazing people here had already asked and answered this issue. All I had to do was search for it. A bit of olive oil and the stuck membrane came off very easily — not even a feather lost.
Because of this community, we have a healthy beautiful chick instead of burying a cold sad egg.
