Membrane too dry ??

Hi All, 1 of my duck eggs pipped yesterday and made a hole in the membrane. It has been over 24 hours since and the membrane has turned a slight brownish, I am wondering weather or not I need to do a c section

Duckling was malpositioned so I intervened and its out under the brooder now.
