I can only speak for myself, I post when I have questions or want to show off a project, like other men have said we want to have a project and feel accomplished. I work full time and have a good amount of other responsibilities at home. Sometimes chickens are on top sometimes at the bottom of these responsibilities. When they are on top I’m likly to post questions or progress on a project. I lurk here when I have a few minutes, only a few times a week....

The chickens where I live don't wear polka dot anything but the men here are the chicken keepers, not the women. It's a big deal for the men here.
It seems there is a cultural difference.
