Men - I gotta question.....

I gotta agree.

When I met my wife she was tiny, looked like a little pixie. Now we are both getting older, she's put on a quite a bit of weight, is in bad health, in constant pain, can't work or even have fun anymore. But guess what? When I look at her I still see that little pixie brat I married all those years ago. She worries about her weight, I don't. I'd rather her have a few extra pounds and be able to at least enjoy her food as be too skinny and look sickly. True beauty isn't what you see walking down the street, it's the beauty you see when you look in someones eyes at the person inside.

She might not be a centerfold model, but she's my wife, the mother of my children, the keeper of the house, my best friend. She's the one that sat by my bedside during three heart attacks, a near nervous breakdown and has dealt with my moods due to PTSD for all these years. When we were broke and I gave our last $40.00 we owned in the world to a woman to help her buy groceries for her kids, Terra is the woman that just rolled her eyes and gave me a hug telling me "You are crazy, but I love you. We'll pay the bills somehow".

She could out-argue a lawyer, out-sass the sassiest person you've ever met, out-cook Paula Deen and so agravating she could make a preacher cuss. But she's the kind of woman who would attack a grizzly with a pencil if you mess with her man or her kids. She is, in my eyes....

Beautiful.

Oh, and btw.... to me, and I'm sure to many other guys... the sexiest thing about a woman..... is their brain.

Just another guy's opinion... your milage may vary.

I guess I can quote myself? The use of the word unique must have been overlooked as I am now a controlling husband with no other purpose for a wife other than to beat her and have children with...

My meaning was a jealous possesion like that is my wife I married her because I love her and it matters only to me what she looks like and I happen to like her muffin top.

As for women getting beaten by abusive husbands I would hope it only happened once and she would have the sense to leave.

Honestly, if you have never been married than any opinion on marriage seems rather pointless.

I have WHAT in my yard? :

Dh tells me that I will never comprehend what men find attractive both because men find many different things attractive and I am not attracted to women...

I think he is weird.... He told me today that he finds my new little muffin tops (which I hate and am trying desperately to lose) "cute". He of course insist that women are supposed to be soft and squishy in all the right places

Don't get me wrong, I am grateful my DH still finds me attractive! But..... muffin tops are cute???

Stuff like this tells me, "I don't understand men and I don't even want to."

How could you get mad at a guy that says that? Well, unless it just sort of comes out of nowhere

"Do you like this color paint?" "You have cute muffin tops." "I'm FAT?" **WHAP**

No really though. Let them be zombies when they're doing certain things, that frees me to do my own thing. Let them think they are superior, that makes them sooo much easier to manipulate. And let them say stuff I think is ugly on me is cute most of all!

I think I need a nap, I'm feeling confused at a lot of posts today, lol. I don't think she was mad, I think she was flattered but confused. Unless I'm misunderstanding what you just said.... I certainly didn't get the impression that she was mad.
