Hubby just called 4:45 p.m. December 23. "I'm going to be a little bit late because I have to get your Christmas present. Everybody is sold out of what you want but I will find something."

Now, it's the thought that counts, but how much thought is there in this?

a month before hand I tell mine how much he can spend, give him a nice list to choose from. I was a bit late this year and he came to me asking for his budget and list before my mother finds out he hasn't shopped yet. poor man

After we had our child we quit buying each other gifts, but he always asks just to be sure there isn't something special I do want. He's about the best gift I could want.
