There have been several viruses that come as email attachments claiming to
be greeting cards. If someone sends you an attachment don't open it unless
you are expecting it or have very good virus protection.

While it is possible to get infected via a web link it is uncommon and much easier
to detect. If I post something online I have already verified it is safe, and usually
stupid.
