Messy water

Our chickens are always making a mess in their water. They are babies and I am looking for any ideas anyone may have. They are still in totes and will be in the house for another 3 weeks

I use a larger brooder than totes but what I do is raise the water container on bricks or pieces of wood higher and higher as they get bigger and bigger. Simple and it works great.

Great idea. I just have my waterer up on a couple 2x4's and it isnt quite enough. Still cleaning out water 5 or 6 times a day. I'll give this a try.

I just switched to chicken nipples, no prob, no waste, less mess, and they're $5 for five of them on ebay. Def better than messing with the waterers twice a day.

Ive been concidering nipple waterer for a while, even before i had the chicks. didnt realize they were so inexpensive. definatly going that route. thx
