I'd say after reading description of both i have Production not french, I'd have died if she had laid as many eggs as they say the french production do. Although she laid 20 over what they say is standard for the Production Toulouse too.

Does she lay good?? oh my goodness once she started it was every other day until she laid a whopping 60 eggs whew I didn't think she'd ever stop and the only reason she did was because I let her keep the last nine eggs she laid she went broody.

Yes she is my only goose my gander is Embden, I searched high and low for a goose for my gander but evidently geese aren't that common here in these mountains and could not find Embden or any other breed for that matter without driving far.
But another BYCer here in my county knew I was looking for a goose so she found me one and they lady delivered her half way so I didn't have to go but about 50 miles round trip.

She was bought along with another from a hatchery. put out on pasture with other geese until I got her at 4 months old.

Have you looked here on BYC at the buy sell trade thread? or go to "where am I where are you" thread and look up your state and ask there.

I will look into the state of Iowa thread since thats where I'm from.
Not sure of any big breeders in Iowa.

Well it's still early too alot of us haven't seen our first goose egg yet.
