Metzer Farms???

All my ducks and geese have come from Metzers or were hatched here from Metzer stock. All have been very healthy; also, their website is a wealth of good information. I highly recommend Metzer's.

We had 14 Campbells arrive super healthy from Metzer last summer! Considering Golden 300s later this summer, so very eager to hear about your experiences with them!

I just ordered from metzers, to arrive in 2 weeks. 2 silver appleyard females....I just hope that I didn’t order too soon in the season and they arrive on time and healthy. This my 1st time ordering ducklings

Glad this thread was started. Assuming my sanity hasn’t left me for greener pastures, I intend to try and get 3 Cayuga females from Metzer. I’ve heard nothing but positive things about them BUT! I had not, until this thread, realized smaller orders had an additional fee. Does anyone have any idea what number bumps a person out of the ‘small order’ category? Just curious. Since I want them sexed I understand there’s a higher price for that (totally worth it if I don’t want to add another sexual predator to my tiny flock ::eyeroll:: *grumbles something about lesbian duck orgies happening at 3:00am*...

Where was I? Oh yeah! So I mean adding extra ducks to bump out of the small order category probably evens out in the end of extra ducks/small order fee. Still sucks they have that fee though. I’ll begrudgingly pay it of course but doesn’t mean I’m not gonna stare judgingly when my girls decide to have a little intimate fun... I’ll yell out the back door “I could’ve saved money on a straight run, you deviants!”

Basically if you order any number under 6, the cost is about the same due to the small order fee. And having to add stuff so they survive.
