He is so pretty!! ❤️ Quick question- Do you have a beardless salmon faverolle? Just wondering cause it looks like it and cause I do!:D
Yeah, she’s beardless, lol. Her name’s Stella and she came from the hatchery like that. The rest of her siblings ( 3 others ) have beards, though.

Here’s Meryl Cheep

She's so cute!! Yeah we got ours from murray mcmurray's and we got two but one died. So we never had a change to get a bearded one.
Mine came from Cackle. I originally had 5, but one died recently at 20 weeks old. Stella, though, had this weird wry neck thing as a chick in addition to being beardless. She’s since outgrew it, but it was really strange. Here’s the thread I had about it

I have had terrible luck with Salmon Favorelles. Is that just something in their genetics or are they prone to disease and such? Not sure if it's just luck or something. One of mine has had splay leg, one was blind/deaf and very small, and the another died of coccidiosis (because of this I don't have any birds). Every other breed has lived and thrived but those just somehow never make it :(

I don't know. Out of my two, one died the day after we got her and we don't what was wrong with her. And then my other one is pretty healthy but she did almost die from getting sour crop.;) I am guessing that they just are not the healthiest breed. I am sorry that none of yours survived.:(
