Meyer Hatchery Adopt me bargain

Hey all. After much deliberation I ordered the Meyer Hatchery Lee Ann's Adopt Me Bargain. 25 birds for 44.00 plus shipping. It says any combination of chicks, bantams or broad breasted turkeys. My question is if you have ordered this before and if so what did you get? Really excited to see whats coming they ship out tuesday

I broke down and ordered the Large Fowl pullet collection (25 pullets for $50) from MyPetChicken last week. I have ordered from them twice before and have been exceptionally pleased. I am so excited again this time!

Ship date: July 18

When do your chicks ship? Let's compare when we get them.

Wow, I ordered from MPC too with a ship date of July 18. I only order 15-Orpingtons, Wyanndottes, Delawares and Welsummer. I'm in Arizona so I'm a bit worried about the heat. These 15 will be added to my current group of 3 year olds when they're ready. I'm really excited to have babies again

The last time I ordered was in March (still winter here) so I don't know what to expect from the heat, although we aren't as hot as you are. You have a nice selection coming. I am hoping for more speckled sussex and barred rocks (ordered some before and LOVE them) but also some new and different breeds as well.

Hey I just got my Leanns adopt me bargain. here are some pics of what I got. No idea what they are but maybe you guys can help me identify them.

This is what most of them look like. Guessing Cornish cross but not really sure.

Blitz, looks like you got the common breeds, mostly sex links and Leghorn possibly. The ones with stripes, it could be NH. I don't see any Easter Eggers in that lot but that can change!

The black chicks looks definately Black Aussies.

The so called Cornish crosses....I don't see the heaviness of the leg or wide stance. I am guessing egg laying breed like Leghorn.

Past threads on this special was left overs, mostly males and people expect rare breeds in the lot or hoping to get something they wanted but ended up disappointed. If you don't care what you are getting, then this special would fit. If not, next time order what you want and go from there.
