She looks too pale for a Rhodie. They usually start out as a darker red. Lift up her feathers. If her down is red like the rest of her feathers, she is a New Hampshire. If her down is white, she's a red sexlink (Meyer calls them Golden Buffs).She looks a lot like my Golden Buff, Ginger when she was a little younger.My meal maker is now 10 weeks old. Is she a meyer's RIR or NHR? By now I'm learning what the heritage breeds should look like, but I'm not sure what the hatchery stock of either would look like. Or more like how they would differ. What do you think? She really is darkening which makes me lean toward RIR.![]()
