Meyer hatchery Salmon Favo.

I looked over the photos on feathersite and I think both my hens are actually breeder quality which is very interesting to me the first hen looks better after her molt I will try and get some good pictures of her.

I thought so too, but she surely is pretty with that heavy foot feathering. The only thing that I don't like about the Faverolles is that the foot feathering is too sparse, so I guess that's why I think she is so pretty.:)Paula

I know. I like the heavy foot feathering also.

Maybe even show. You should try to enter her into a show. I bet she'd win.

I may be entering birds in the Maryland state fair which has a large poultry show. I was very happy with the quality of my birds from Meyer my cuckoo Marans which everyone told me would lay light eggs and resemble BR's lay the same shade as most breeders Cuckoo's and sometimes darker then theirs. One of those hens may also be considered show quality and I might enter her because of the movement to get Marans recognized. This faverolle girl has made me want more of them so badly and if I don't get a broody and hatch some fav's I might have to order three more pullets from Meyer even with the extra cost!

I don't think they have anything available on their site at all as they are not sending chicks out yet this year and don't take backorders like other hatcheries. If you call them they may be able to help you more affectively thats what I found with them.
