Bought a dozen midget white turkey eggs at a swap meet last month...or so I thought. Started to hatch today, lost one that was midget white just after hatch. So I am currently left with this little guy. Pretty obviously not a MW or bourbon red which are also in the incubator. 012FD941-A85E-4481-A636-3B4F02341995.jpeg 86C27C02-4629-425F-94B6-D4809BA73320.jpeg

I have mixed breeds that look like this! Mine are Bourbon Red Tom x Royal Palm hen.

I’m going to the same swap again tomorrow. I hope the seller is there. I need to know what I have. I’m okay with anything but a wild turkey

I think wild turkeys are darker...I hatched some out 2 years ago. They escaped anyway. :) I love the heritage breeds the production turkeys are what are hard to care for, I think.
