Mice in the coop.

I applaud Dobie Lover's method. We used to have quite a mouse problem when I had a breeding kennel of dogs. They would lay with their heads through the swinging door so they could observe the world while taking it easy. Well the mice had to be getting in that way.

Apparently Cockers do not "see" mice, even with all the screaming going on (MINE). Set traps where mice where nibbling on Idaho potatoes in storage. In about 5 minutes - bagged 8 mice. Got my father to throw out the mice, he said he didn't see any, even while he was throwing them out. DUH!!

Some time later found dead "pinkies," baby mice in one of the dog stalls. One cocker at least took them seriously - each one had been bitten. That was sad but, she at least must have had some instinct.

I figured out that the mother had been killed and the hungry babies were crawling out of the opening where paneling didn't fit all the way. Sad all around but thankfully never had the mouse problem again.
