Hi, I'm new!
Just wondering, does anyone know of a way to get rid of mice in a chicken coop? We can't use traps, usual or live. We can't use poison because the chickens do occasionally catch and try to eat critters around their pen or coop. The mice live in the walls and under the floor in the coop, but the coop is also attached to the barn, so mice live in there too. We have wireing that they haven't messed with yet (that we know of), but they are still pests and they could carry disease.
Thanks!

Talk to an exterminator. He should have a trap that will hold a several mice at one time. The mice enter thru the side, step on a flipper, which throws them to the back of the box. Then you have to empty it. could still be alive or if you leave it long enough, eeccckkk, to empty. It's a wind up box, and I have seen mice caught half in half out and that's not pleasant.

The chickens will probably eat the mice that go close enough to them
