Yeah, just one chick.
I went to the Lansing Chickenstock Saturday, intending to buy a couple chicks for my setting hen, Daisy. There was only one left by the time I made up my mind, so I got Fudge, a BLW.
Long story short, Daisy rejected Fudge and now poor Fudge is lonely and driving us crazy with incessant yelling. I'm hoping to find a pal for Fudge so everyone can be happy. As much as I enjoy him/her, sitting around holding a lonely chick is not getting my garden weeded, the house cleaned, or the shopping done! Naturally, my DD (who'd hold a chick all day)is gone for the week.
