Not long now!

If anyone is interested in any Silkie chicks, just let me know. I have a few grey partridge chicks for sale, $5 each. I've decided not to bring any chickens to chickenstock unless someone wants something.

Oh yeah...I've still got the 2 female black Runner ducks for sale. I REALLY need to get them a new home before they go on the menu.

Anyone undecided about bringing chickens for sale might want to consider the impulse factor of chicken purchasing. I know I have bought chickens when I had no intention of doing so. Also some people have posted that they are coming to see what is for sale.

My family and I are coming up Saturday and we are super excited! Even hubby has come around. He keeps telling the kids that he's coming up to look for chicks or chickens that we don't already have. I love it! We are hoping to purchase while we are there so anyone whose bringing we'll definitely be by to see you

I have a master plan, taking a bunch of my older stock to the butcher on Sunday AFTER coming up to purchase new for our "rainbow flock" on Saturday!

We are (as MJ would say) UBER excited!

OK.. I just now find this post.. How cool. I may try to make it, but will be after lunch. Of all days, I have my last puppy scheduled to go home August 1st.. hoping they come early.

If I come I will bring a a dessert or two and whatever else looks fun..

Does anyone have any buff orpington pullets? I need one more to keep my 2 of each breed/color plan. My rainbow flock currently consists of 17 different colors.
I will be bringing a pair of bantam vorwerks that are absolutely beautiful so be prepared to fight temptation. So second thought don't be.

I can tell you right now I have no ability to fight off temptation when it comes to my chickens. I JUST LOVE THEM

Good morning, folks!

Time is winding down...I think I smell the applewood smoked chickens wafting into Swartz Creek, Sam!

Glad so many folks are going to make it!!!

On the gift exchange, yes, it should be wrapped, but don't go to great lengths in doing so! Even Christmas wrap would be just fine, or a brown paper bag! Just a way so that you can't see what it is. No names on them. We'll just put them all in a big bin & whoever brings one gets to take one!

Please remember to bring a tarp to put your cages on if you can...and some hand sanitizer is always a good idea when handling any livestock. I think there will be plenty of food!
