I think Wednesday. Fingers crossed!!! Those dang blue eggs are hard as heck to candle! I think I still have all 7 eggs viable so far....

Well, 1 hatched this morning and didn’t survive...down to 6 now.
I came into the coop at lunchtime to possum-proof the barn, and heard peeps! I saw 3 different heads poke out so far. One dark one, 2 chipmunk colored (1 significantly lighter than the other). We'll see what the evening brings as I am back to work. I did place a shallow dish of feed in the Rubbermaid container. I will put a shallow dish of water this evening. I probably did that backwards.....oh boy.
I have confirmed 4 hatched, all 4 peeking out from under momma at the same time. Tomorrow I will lift her up and get a full count.

Yes a clutch of 7 eggs. One hatched a day early and did not survive, found it dead on the nest. One Ameraucana egg was a dud. I lifted her off the nest today to clean up and found 5 chicks! 3 Black, 2 chipmunk colored. So 1 Ameraucana, 2 EEs, 1 EE x GLW, 1 Brown Egg layer of undetermined breed.

I never found them....weird. But I drastically improved my setup as a result this time. I will try to get a pic of the chicks tomorrow, so stinking cute!
