Michigan Hatchers! What'cha got cookin?

Pics
Will probably be setting eggs tomorrow in the incubator, but since we've never hatched eggs before, had a couple questions for those with more experience:
i have got a couple of accurite digital therm/hygrometers in the unit + 2 of the little bulb thermometers + the combo gauge on the lid. Question is should i trust one or the other type to be more accurate or reliable since they dont all read exactly the same (+/- 2 deg & aprox 10+ humidity variance), or would it be better to use an average between the high & low readings?

try to check your bulb type in a pot of boiling water....see how close they are.

Just set 21 eggs @6pm - its been less than 30 minutes & already a nervous wreck . . . LOL
A variety of kinds : Iowa Blue, IaB/Delaware(as we call them DelaBlues), IaB/RSL, & EEs.
Not sure if all 21 are fertile & some were collected over a week ago.
Hopefully we'll get something more than a batch of hardboiled eggs

candled a bunch in the bator, not looking real promising, course all these eggs were collected in the real cold stuff from a few weeks ago so wasnt real hopeful to begin with, well if the ladies would pick up the laying here we might get some more in the bator, course it looks like more frigid temps for a couple days..grrr. i am going to build a huge green house over my whole property and then call mr gore and ask him to send some of that global warming my direction....

I seem to be in the same spot...... my current bator residents arent looking very promising.
