OK experts...I need a little help.....
So with this last hatch, I know I had a couple Marans/blue Orp mixes. I thought (for some reason) it would be easy to distinguish the two when they hatch. Now I have them hatched and finding it difficult to tell the two apart from each other.
Any ideas?
thanks
Matt

Ahhh you were the lucky one from HT to be able to pick up eggs during your vaca in FLA?I have fifteen heritage Delaware eggs to hatch on March 25.
I think this is what I was planning on. Problem is they all seemed to be light on feathered legs...less than my earlier hatch. The amount of leg feathering? I would assume the mixes would have less feathers.
Awesome - we have 1 Delaware pullet, & we love her - she's such a gentle sweetheart - lays pretty consistant tooI have fifteen heritage Delaware eggs to hatch on March 25.
