wow!  great numbers so far out of, did you say, 30 set?  Great success so far!  CUTE, I would love to get some Maran's.  Looking for Blue Copper, Black Copper for egg color only, not into the "show business" at this point.

Thank you Candy I bought pretty close to SQ chicks last year and these chicks are from them. 2 hen lay 6s on the scale and 1 lays 5s.

Here's an update on my babies, I have 4 eggs left to go, two are pipped. So that makes 27 hatched so far! The bator is getting pretty full.

I have 27 chicks in the brooder and 3 eggs in the bator yet but they probably want do anything. Unfortunately I had a cross beak hatch so I will be putting him down later today.

On another note, I almost CAN'T believe that out of the 11 Muscovy eggs that I brought home from FL , 10 are well veined and developing! That was a rough drive home :/ So I'm trying not to get my hopes up but...I'm excited anyway. I guess we'll see what happens April 18th.
