Michigan Hatchers! What'cha got cookin?

Pics
I admit that I must have tread too close to the edge and accidently fell off the deep end.

I have one incubator overfull with 49 eggs, in my second bator I just set 26 BCM and Blue Marans from Wynette that I drove an hour and half to pickup yesterday, AND I have a third bator hopefully on its way from GQF.
-BUT- since the amazon store messed up my order so badly with the second incubator I bought in march they refunded my whole order price ...so I decided to use that to get the 3rd bator.
But hopefully I will be having lots of chicks running around in the next 3 weeks! :jumpy

WOOO HOOOO for eggs from wynette! Isn't she just so nice! I'm trying desperately to not fall over the edge. There's no guarantee that I'll be able to sell all or even ANY of the chicks hatching next week, in which case I'll have to resort to trying to GIVE them away.

Our power is 'surging' or at least fading every 6 seconds today with all this wind. I really don't want to have to plug the generator in to keep the incubator running, but if I have to I will!

yay for viening,

glad that is funny, wont be long now.. i think after the 14 day it goes pretty quick

i am on day 20 for turkey eggs candled the geese eggs and they were duds, when the guy picked them out of the nest they were in water, it was back during the flooding, i just candled a few eggs.. the few chicken eggs i checked are doing good and moving, one turkey is moving, the other isnt but looks like its formed good. so will see..

put some eggs under my broody, i think i put like 12 or 13. now i am down to 10 eggs. between hens moving them out of nest, one broke, havent candled them will wait till they are formed more.

For all who thinks 21 days for eggs is long and stressful. ..

Ive been livin in the barn a foal watch cause im too cheap to buy a wireless camera. Lol!
My breed of horses is one of the hardest to foal as so much can go wrong causeof their small size. (Miniatures horses).
I have a mare who is pacing and all waxed up and milkin. So im gonna say finally tonight is the night. (Fingers crossed) Wednesday will be day 365 in foal. So with all the signs being strong, hopefully thos is my last night sleepin in the barn.
Also on Wednesday, im expecting 25 chicks to hatch! So im on crazy baby watch here! I paid almost $200 for these eggs also!

@mindyleeyea!!!! make sure you post pics of new foal please :)

Darn phone wont let me post pics!
It wasn't 10min after I post and my mare delivered a silver bay filly! 13 inches tall and totally healthy and textbook birth!
I get to sleep in the house tonight! :)

@mindylee Congrats on your new baby

last night i candled a few eggs in the coop under the broody, there is live chicks but eggs looks like there is to much water in them, also i dont think she is turning the eggs properly.. so i am guessing after all this rain today and moisture from other chickens, i bet non of the eggs make it. and if they do when they break through the membrane they will meet a drowning death from to much moisture.
debating on taking them out of there.. they look bad. maybe i wil try get the broody in another area and give her the chicks that hatch inside the house. or just wait it out and see what happens,
