Have had chicks for a little over a year now. Started out with 20 straight run Cornish crosses for meat, my last rooster, Romeo, that I couldn't bear to part with just died as did his turkey buddy, Tom, who survived the death of a brother and sister. Tom was a broad-breasted bronze and huge! I also have four white Brama hens, a Silver-Laced Wyandotte roo and hen, a white Leghorn "foundling" hen, an old Black Australorp hen (I think?), 2 white Silkie roos, and because we hatched some eggs last fall, I have a hen and roo half Silkie-Leghorn cross as well as 2 roo Wyandottes, 2 roo Wyandotte-Brahma crosses, 2 hen Wyandottes and 2 hen Wyandotte-Brahma crosses. Whew, what a year!

Sounds as if you are suffering from rooster overload. Perfect excuse to get more hens. Welcome to BYC.
