That would be me. Lol. We're going to do something like that this weekend and get them out. A quick modification to one of the tractors and we'll be good to go.I don't remember who has 70 meat birds in the basement. but if they are over 3weeks old they will do fine outside, I had some one yr. I put in the tractor the day we got them and only had the heat lamp on for a week or 2
I had them on one chick for a week and a half.ANY ONE that has put hobbles on a young chick for splayed leg , how long did you leave them on?? I have a chick, leg was not to bad but she couldn't stand up, so I hobbled her, she is very tiny, I was going to cull her yesterday because for the first day she couldn't stand and I don't want the grand kids to get attached. So went down with my nippers prepared to do the deed and she was standing much better, how long should I leave the hobble on??
Ooooh! I'm not far. DH says I only get 2 coops per year though. Hahahahaha!!!!http://nmi.craigslist.org/zip/3812404684.html If you live close to Traverse City, check this out, free building material.. looks like a nice big coops worth.. hope one of you can snag this,
