I ask my 17yr old cat everyday if he's stiff yet.
"You stiff yet?"
*pokes cat, cat moves*
"Nope, guess not."

Same here Fuzz! I bleached the uknowhat out of it (got all the nooks and crannies) and I'm replacing some of the wood. Then the whole thing will be painted before going into the coop. I've dealt with Mareks and lost 2 lots of 2 - 3 month olds that were (thank goodness) quarantined when it started presenting. 8 marans from a guy up in Montrose spread it to the healthy bunch that was also in the quarantine coop.[/QUOTE]Idk off hand, but that is one of the forms for chickens. I hope you didn't just bring it home to your girls with those boxes. It's one of those ones that's carried in dander, and blows for miles! I would NOT use those boxes if you haven't already. Perhaps overkill, but that's one of the few of the chicken diseases that actually scare me.
Maybe she has something in her eye. If so, try flushing it out with warm salt water. If you don't see anything, try soaking a cotton ball with warm salt water and holding it on her eye for a little while. My jj is keeping her left eye closed. No smell, no bubbles, just acting like it hurts. Been that way since this afternoon. Not sure what to do. Maybe she got something in it or something? Thinking of taking a warm damp cloth out in the morning to see if that helps. Any other thoughts or suggestions?
I think you meant saline, LOL?
Clever girl. Wonder where she got that from.So after our conversation he searched their house and found that the card had arrived before her birthday but been stuck with some unopened bills. Morgan called me later last night to again thank me for her birthday gift. I asked if she was giving back the gift card her dad had substituted and she said no. That it was his penance for leading her to wonder if perhaps her Opa was starting to become senile.
