For those of you interested..... My cousin lives in Jueanu and has been up all night this week filming. Aurora hunting. Here's some footage to share.

Our skies this morning were very red, we'll see if the old adage holds true.

I woke our kids up at 4AM when they were very young to see the Aurora they still remember. Was Beautiful!!

Anyone ever get Amberlink pullets from Townline?

i have some from last year. They were the first to start laying and have been laying through this winter. Lay a dark brown egg not marans dark but darker than the normal egg. Seem pretty docile. And get a decent size. They look alot like a white rir with some read feathers speckled in. I would say a decent bird if you are looking for a darker egg and dont want to pay marans prices. Seem to lay wel

That would be great eatwhatyougrow......some darker eggs is the reason.....did you get them from townline?

Silkie egg, Ameraucana egg, Wyandotte or barred rock egg, amber link egg, the darker of my Marans' eggs. The amber links layed a little darker when they started in the fall and have laid consistently all winter like any pullet should.

I got all of these today! The 3rd I think is my Cochins. The 4 is my production reds. The first two I'm not sure. Maybe the polish. But it's my first 4 egg day! e

Anyone know of TSC in new Hudson has their chicks yet??

All the !#$% going on right now in this state regarding farming is down right $%^^& shameful........... SHAMEFUL!

I said it before, I'll say it again. No matter how many people fight this GAAMPS change, those dirty so bs are going to cram it down our throats. Their minds are made up and now the courts are following suit.
