Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

A large plastic dishpan would be large enough and be much easier to deal with when moving your tractor.

I use the small black cement mixing pan you can get a big box store. Higher sides help keep the sand contained better and less likely to be flipped over by the birds, and heavy duty plastic. I put in a mixture of sand, DE and a little poultry dust.

We brought in the FG, Eeyore in to hang out and trim his nails.

Always been a fan of stop animations... computer gen stuff is cool, but SA was something I always wanted to do. The box trolls looks like it will be a great one! (Sept 2014)

Thank you, both! I appreciate it! Just a planning Mama wanting to make sure my ladies stay happy once they're out in the yard!

Hello again. Long time no see. From last year, we ended up losing all the chickens. *sighs* Being pregnant, I could not handle that and remain here, so I left. In October I had a daughter.
sorry about your chickens,CONGRATULATIONS on your daughter, Welcome back

Hello, I have been trying for a few months to re home my laying hens and the weather has conspired against me. I had 5, and one passed due to the cold. I need to find a proper home for them where they can do what they do best....lay gorgeous eggs!
I have 2 Americana and 2 Gold Crested Polish. They have become very attached to each other since our Mamma Hen passed, so they need to go together and stay together.

I live in Garden City, about 6 miles north of 94 & 6 miles west of 275. I can meet you or bring them to you, but I need to know they are safe and warm.
beautiful hens, hope someone can help you out

More entertaining that TV - my grandson just loves to sit and watch the chicks. And he named them all, too
!
love the pics, your grandson is so sweet

a cat litter box also makes a good dust bath, with or with out the top,
