Thanks for the warm welcome! Is there anyone from the mid-michigan area?

I didn't see a lot of posts telling where everyone is from.

Welcome! We're all very glad to have so many new members! I can't say I am, sorry.

What kind of chickens do you have how many?

Jeym

We have a mix. We have black sex links, black australops, white leghorns, New Hampshire reds, and a few that I am not sure what they are. We have 30 or so layers.

We also buy Cornish x in the spring. We also have 6 ducks..

I have to say just from browsing around, I am finding a wealth of information here! I'm so glad I joined.

If the fencing you are talking about is woven wire it is has a mesh size of 2"x4".  It would contain both adult chickens and ducks but would not be totally predator proof.  A Red Brand  100' roll is $70 at Lowes
Thanks @opa.
I'm not certain if that is welded or not. I discussed it with DH today, he said well since it is not enough length to do my area anyway, might be more trouble than its worth. Hmmm. Back to the thinking stage. I suppose more wattle fence can always be in my future too. Altho I did see my Runners found a spot to get out today. :(

Partly because there are a lot of young people and children that post on this forum in general, and it's not encouraged that they tell people where they are from.
I'm not a huge fan of pinpointing my location........ though we do have a MI thread somewhere that lists were everyone is from...
