Sweet deal on the coat...DH is acting like a kid before XMAS...he SO loves Opening Day...it's not like he hasn't already gotten 3 during bow...I better get cranking & do my share to help fill the freezer. Don't want this to be the first year since I started that I don't get one...


While I like seasons...personally I'd be fine with one week of snow at XMAS. I don't do so well in the cold ...if my family didn't live here, I'd be somewhere else

I hear ya, if it's gonna be cold, let it be white. Beats looking at brown, dormant grass...

I just would prefer somewhere that had a MUCH longer summer

Don't get me wrong, I love the snow just not that much. It's the main reason we moved back home from TX. SEASONS.

EXACTLY!!! I lived in Florida for about a year, hated it.

I thought this last summer was lovely.... the heat does me in big time, so I didn't miss it in the least.

It was so hot I stayed inside most of the time. How's that for branching out in a new location?

I am so glad to be back home.

Besides, I never would have been able to have chickens there.

I sent you a PM. With local officials spying on this site, I don't publicize my info... Especially since one was convicted of crimes against us, which he felt was justified because we own animals against ordinance.
The judge disagreed...
