Sadly some jobs don't care if your kids are sick. Actually some jobs don't care if You are sick. I know a job like that where you're expected to turn up unless you are literally dead.

It's tough to do sometimes Farmer... lots of work places won't always let employees off to be home with their kids.... it's just not always that easy.
There was a new person on here asking about coops....... were you able to get the answers you were looking for? I would go to the coops pages and check out all the coops there. Build bigger than you think you'll need is a good starting place.
Opa, wow I thought that was all cleared up? I wonder if something like honey would help in a case like this.
DH said he thought the bees were dead after the cold snap we just had........ so I stuck my ear to the hive wall yesterday and gave it a couple taps...... They're still alive and well!

Found a spool that is too perfect even for a goat toy. Don't worry, the goats are getting others. The joys of asking at a construction site if they're for sale, and being told to take 'em since they're going to be disposed of rather than reused! Only three fit in the truck. Getting some more tomorrow.

Anway, this one is destined to be a table or something. Or a table bookshelf like this one. Oh my the possibilities!

The one issue is that there are some logos stamped onto each side. I'd love to just use stain for the more natural wood color, but they do detract a little. Maybe I can find a way to tastefully cover them up and stain the rest.

Who was it that liked doves on here?

Awwww! I need girls, though. I want to adopt out my two males, neither turned out human friendly. I would feel better about it if they were mated so not lonely. One could be more

human friendly with more work, maybe. The one i am keeping is my bud. That baby does not look weaned yet, too little!!!

Nice find Stacy. Maybe a belt sander will take care of the stencil. Or perhaps an inlay.

Ahh, a sander might just do the trick! It does have a lot of snags that need to be smoothed out, anyway. Though if I am going to paint it at all, I think I am going to go with milk paint. Still, might stick with stain. It just highlights all the lovely properties of a piece of wood, even if it is made of something simple like white pine!

Edit: Yay pintrest! I've decided what I'm going to do. I'm going to MAP IT. Like this one:

And according to a tutorial I found, it shouldn't be too terribly difficult. Obviously the map is the final step. Now to find a sturdy one of da UP.
