Pressure cookers rock!! (they used to literally rock the pressure weight on top).
Just got one again this past year, way better than a slow cooker for pot roasts, stews, soup/broths....saves energy to I think.


Warm weather is fantastic.....snow melt runoff stinks!!! Especially in the chicken run both literally and figuratively.

never tried a small pressure cooker, may have to get one! sounds yummy

NPIP testing is not hard to get but has to be redone if you add to your flock, or take off your property for show or something. the antigen is very pricy which is why not to many people do it. I believe it is only necessary if you plan to sell out of state. some one said they are going to the class in Lansing on Tues. when I took the class you did not need to be registered. I think most 4H fairs require testing for shows and will have a tester.
