Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

So far no apparent new visits. I'll just pretend they were stopping by to take care of the mice in the field, and not grab a duck snack :p

The general opinion over at the yesterdays tractors forum is that the one I am looking at is overpriced. I may try and get the price down. They're asking 2,200. It's hard to say though because I feel like a lot of them are going for around that price. I've waited a long time, I can keep waiting for the right one to come by I suppose.
Agreed.  I SO missed going to CS this year and seeing everyone!

Not a problem at all.  Honestly?  I would not have ducks if'n I couldn't use pelleted bedding.  It's SO much more absorbent than shavings or even sawdust.

I have had several people mention coyotes this year...one lady just up the road from us. She went out just after dusk to take clothes off the line that she'd forgotten about, and heard a pack of them off in the distance...she wasn't sure if that's what they were so she stood there for a minute & listened.  When she heard the distinctive "yipping" they do back & forth, she realized that's what they were, and that they were getting closer...FAST!  She dropped everything & ran to the house.  Her husband went out to try & find them, but they'd run off, or past their farm.  Scary stuff.  I have a very old (over 30) horse that I worry about...he stays in the barn at night, but the rest of my equines stay outdoors 24/7.  I do have a couple mini donkeys, so hopefully they'd run coyotes off, but being mini...not so sure (?)  Scary stuff.

Then, a woman in my dog agility class was telling me there were 2 just at the edge of her property just Tuesday evening.  She's in Flint Twp., on the edge, and has only about 3 acres.  She said they were eyeballing her and growling...

They're still laying but have slowed down, so call soon if interested!

I guess it would depend on how much work it needs and how much restoration has been done. Ours was handed down so cant say much on pricing.

It would definitely need some work to be restored right looking at it. They rattle canned it and it kinda shows. I'm not sure of overall condition, I haven't had a chance to hear it run or anything.

I'm jealous, lol. I like it. I actually dig the yellow too.

Thanks! I cant wait to get it running again. I think we are going back to the original colors, grey & red (I think thats the original colors anyway)

What direction does that wall face? I am trying to figure which wall to put our nesting boxes & roost on. The entry door will face north, poop door will be south. We have a large window facing west. I am thinking I need to put them on the east wall so they dont try to roost on the window.
