Yes, bromothelin is an irreversible poison, unlike warfarin poisons. Don't know who thought that was a good idea.

So much food; so little space. Wonderful! Yesterday a RAT waved 'good night' when closing up the coop. UGH! Today 'Black Friday' shopping involved getting rat poison. Not so nice, but they are too smart to trap, so on to Plan B. I do hate to see all the bromothelin out there rather than warfarin type products. Nasty! Mary
so sorry to hear....I lost three out of a flock of six in August....two hens and a drake all KC.s to a stray dog. Good luck with the rest of them.I am devastated to report that my flock of 4 ducks was attacked this evening by what looked to be a fox. I've already lost one (my khaki that started laying today) and I currently have the remaining 3 in a bin treating wounds and hoping to stave off infection. The poor khaki girl died in my arms as I held her and tried to save her. I don't know what to do with her now, I don't want to eat her.

Bury deep so it's not dug back up.
Best of luck with the survivors.
