Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

Congrats Kimmie on the new grand baby, what a doll.

Love the pics of the Auracaunas, very informative for me :)

We finally moved the chicks out of the brooder, they were getting so crowded and they love there new space, they just run and fly all around, we had to make a new coop out of a lean to on the garage, but it ended up being a bigger space and it is dry, that is the important factor.

They have already found there new roost, there are so many of them, we might have to make more roosts, if they all squish close together, I'm not sure they can all fit :)

The hens love to be out after a rain, pecking at all the bugs and worms, they just look so happy.

Hope your Saturday was productive, ours sure was, Grandpa took all 3 boys by himself to the zoo, love that guy! So we finished the new coop, transferred the chicks and almost finished carpeting the downstairs rec room and hallway, so close!
Not quite that productive, but I did get a lot of sewing done today. Did any of the bantam cochins end up with frizzled feathers, or do they all seem smooth still? I am anxious to see photos of the little buggers eventually.

Stacykins - I love the lopsided look of having one tuft. Girl #4 is precious. There is something about that cute face.

Nova - I'm not sure if it says I'm a good reader or bad, but I see to have read all the right words and totally missed that some were not the right ones. I hate auto correct.

I spent most of our beautiful day inside yesterday. I started a new bag and wanted it finished. I wanted one that had a spot for everything and I think this one does. I would have liked fabric with more chickens and not the cows but I liked this color combo.

It looks like a nice day today. We are getting together with family this afternoon. My aunt and uncle are visiting this month from Alaska and this is our big Thanksgiving together. Off to feed birds.

Saturday was coop cleaning day... next time I have to remember to wear a filter, with every fork full, the wind blew back all the dusty loose stuff... coughing up the nasties today... blech!!

I have to work for a few hours today, DH had breakfast made for me when I got out of the shower.. I though that was very sweet!

Sunrise this morning was pretty intense!

Tap, nice job on the bag, I like the colors and patterns too!

That was quite the nutshell

Gorgeous sunrise picture! Yea, wearing some sort of respiratory protection is a good idea when coop cleaning. I mean, my coop doesn't get bad, but it sure can be dusty! I cleaned my coop yesterday, a 100% clean. And whew, holy dust!

Thanks to everyone on the congrats, little Talyn is doing dandy and oh so beautiful!! I do miss my chickers though oh and my hubby, lol. We should be going home tomorrow.

Here's a pictue of my daughter Summer getting ready for surgery she is terrified but still can laugh, my other daughter Pammie onthe right and Melissa on the left trying to relax her. I was so on edge thinking that she may die that I am surprised that I didn't cry like a crazy person.

Kimmie - Congrats on the grandbaby. They are Sooo much more fun.
Does anyone want a white , I think call, duck? Its a rescue. A cat thought it was lunch. I don't know the sex and it looks like it may have a bad wing. It really needs a home. P.M. me if you're even almost interested. I'm close to the Davison area and I'm sure we can make arrangements.
