Handsome boy!!!
I generally have no problems finding fresh Flock Raiser, so it was a surprise there today. I also shop at the TSC in Williamston, where it's been more expensive. This weekend I'll be there!
Finally, a setting hen! One of my Belgian d'Uccles, with bantam eggs. Due to hatch August 1 through 3. :clapMary

Lost a hen today. One of the cuckoo Marans died. No apparent injury. She was nearly 5 years old. Other sad news, one of the turkey poults is missing. I suspect that he got through the fence and the neighbor's dogs got him. No way to tell for sure.

House hunting tomorrow. :fl Wish me luck.

Someone once said that if you have livestock, at some point you will also have dead stock. It happens.
The best we can do is provide the best care possible for the critters under our care.

Looked at this house on Saturday. Major drawback is that ugly lilac bush blocking the windows. Could be a deal breaker. What do you ladies think? ;)
