There was a post on FB with a picture of a guy wanted for stealing a car. Spotted in Garden City a lot. There are worse people than you there. Had a bit of a chuckle.

think I was a little older then that, but just think if that had been the case,I'd be a LOT younger now. and that ain't all bad

Has anyone purchased a straight run silkie order from family farm and home stores? If so, were you satisfied with the chicks and what was your cockerel to pullet ratio?

Straight run is always anybody's guess, especially with small numbers. If you ordered 25, or 50, things would likely even out. With many fewer, who knows? I got lucky a few years ago and had four pullets and one cockerel in an order, wonderful. Usually it's not that good.
