Ugh. Back among the living today. Had some sort of nasty germ bug go through our house on Tuesday night and I spent the entire day in bed yesterday, which is saying something since I kept all 3 kids home from school as well. Everyone seems to be perky today, so back to school they go.

I am SO READY for some warmer weather. Our first middle school baseball games are supposed to be on Tuesday, and we will have (hopefully) had an outdoor practice by then.

Have had people texting me about the EE cockerels I have on Craigslist wanting the “hens” I have listed No. They are males.

I think my barn cat experiment isn't working the way I thought it would. Hobbes has been indoors getting used to the household. After adopting Maggie the golden retriever, he is now approaching me for play time and petting. He is getting quite tame and friendly. Not sure that he even wants to go outside.

Finally! Sun and warm temps. Oh what a beautiful day!
I finally was able to take the tarps down from the chicken run. Now, it'll be able to dry out. It was a muddy mess!

Nice weather again today, have to do some work in the basement, mudding the drywall......removing some of the tarps on the run... almost did it yesterday but ran out of time.

Raz maybe you should leave that blade on for another 2 weeks. Then it will be May and if you keep the snow away we can get some spring coop cleaning done. I do remember the little stinker you raised. did you release it in GC?
