Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

Glad to be back home! Cruise was nice, but the water was a bit tough at times. Wed and thur, the swells were pretty big. We were going up n down 20' in the swells, not the ship, we were, my friend had an altimeter on his phone. Went to Dominican Republic, St Thomas, Puerto Rico and Grand Turk. St Thomas and Grand Turk was my favorites. Did a lot of snorkeling. Glad we got home when we did as the ship hit Hurricane Michael on it's next voyage out. We hoped to swim some more in Miami, but the red tide had been reported in the area and we didn't want to risk getting sick.

Yesterday I got the shot in my SI joint. Was no where near as bad as my hip and foot shots at least. Hopefully it'll work.

Raz, sorry I am too far away and not able to help you out. I feel bad that I can't. It's too bad people don't want to actually work these days. Have you considered using ropes, pullys and ramps?

Hello to the Noobs!
Sounds like a fun trip even with the swells. Glad you beat the hurricane. I have some friends down there who are having hurricane parties. I think they are nuts.

I got the garage walls up with ropes, pulleys, winches and even the tractor forks. I just don't have enough lift on the tractor to reach the 10 foot walls. Might have to rent a Sky-lift if these contractors back out again. What makes me mad is the "promise" that someone will be there to help. I hate people who lie. At least return the phone calls if you are busy and can't help.

I chased away another trespasser / poacher trying to hunt my land. That makes three so far this season. Life in the woods, eh?

My day just improved a thousand-fold. Look at this beautiful visitor.

RaZ do you have no trespassing signs up?
So now what? Any more contractors that you know?
Hey, hubby is going to Garden City tomorrow to call on a car dealership. Want him to say hi to anyone in Garden City for you? :lau

What a beautiful stinky-snake! I love those. We have one living in our garage's "rat wall" and he's been there for 3 years now.
Keep them AWAY from the birds though. The birds will eat them.
Right now, the birds I have are mere chicks in the brooder. 20 littles safe and sound behind a double barrier of welded wire and hardware cloth . i didn't notice any stink from this snake. I picked him up and moved him out of the garage.

I hate trespassers!!!

We leased our "good" neighbors property for hunting this year and I have a feeling the "bad" neighbor, that has been hunting next door, thinks he's entitled to the boarder of my lease. The good neighbor, told me that the bad neighbor tried to help himself to an extra 25' of his property by moving stakes out 25'. Luckily when we had our property surveyed, it cemented where the corner of their property was. We put in a 6x6 post and H brace right on that spot to make sure it didn't get "relocated".... What the heck makes people think they are so darn entitled?

One time while I was sitting in our hot tub, and I saw the bad neighbor, slink along the fence line (facing me) and he cut over onto my property. I yelled, "I see you and you are now trespassing, get the F off my land".... didn't see him again, but I'm sure he got a good show when I got out. Bugger...

I'll be putting the no trespassing signs up on his side. Luckily, he no longer owns the property and the bad guy is no longer my neighbor, he's just hunting on it. Maybe I can get his but kicked out and can lease that land as well! Oh now there's a idea!! ;)
