Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

Was gorgeous here yesterday and today, warmer today tho...so nice to see the sun!
Mostly sunny the next 10 days.:fl
Got the outer coop windows cleated shut and 'washed'.
2 of 3 shade cloths down, sun dried, and stored.
Was gonna mow today too but it didn't happen...ran outta juice.

Your mower runs on juice? Mine uses gas. :gig

Since I moved up here, I've only used my mower once. That was last fall to mulch some leaves where I wanted to plant some native flowers. So nice not to have to have the suburban lawn to maintain.
I'm restoring a few acres for pheasant habitat. I have a pretty decent start on it. The wild turkeys seem to like hanging out there.

My biggest "problem" living in the middle of nowhere is the dirt and mud that the dogs and I track into the house. Even worse is how leaves and even acorns seem to wind up in the house. How did I get acorns in the bathroom?

Yesterday was beautiful, and I was at work. Today, also beautiful, and some fencing got half done. All the posts are in, now for the woven wire!
Also, found a nest of fourteen Marans eggs in the barn. Idiot birds! Not many eggs right now, and then they had to hide some of them!
Tonight while fixing dinner, we discovered that the freezer has died. Fortunately, before everything was ruined, only about 30%. Could have been worse in another day or two. Yuck!!! Guess it's time to shop tomorrow. It was new in 2012! Junk!
Done venting for now...

UGH on the rest :barnie

Today we have rain. Sat was beautiful. Spent the day with my two daughters and a bunch of granddaughters. We went out to lunch and to an apple orchard and went thru a corn maze. Took us 45 minutes to get out. Oh, but what fun we had! Played games at my granddaughter's house, then went to Rotten Manor, a haunted house. OMG, what a blast! 2 hours of laughter and screams! The haunted forest was awesome! Very different from the normal haunted houses. Such a fun day with family.
Enjoyed yesterday too. A bit more laid back.
RaZ, when's the work crew coming?

They are supposed to be here Tuesday. I'll call them later to get confirmation.
I hope they work. Weather report is calling for windy conditions today through Wednesday

This was our last camping weekend at the seasonal, had to close her up for winter. Came home Sunday and started getting one of the out buildings ready to winter the sheep in.
Also stopped out to my moms and went to my tree stand, almost made it there, but had a nice buck walking on the same trail toward, me so I backed out and will try another day.

Fingers crossed you get help Raz.
